Introduce your team briefly.
We are a little team of 25 french students in first year of engineer studies at ISAT « Institut Supérieur de l’Automobile et des Transports ». We have a new team each year and we are always looking forward to be better than the previous year.
Tell us about your team’s history with Formula Student.
We participate to Formula Student since 16 years and we are ready to do it an other year ! For the second consecutive year, we are building two cars. Combustion and electric with only 25 students in the first year of the engineering studies. Last year, we participated in FSN in both categories and in FSCz in the combustion category.
What does joining Formula Student Netherlands mean to you?
Joining Formula Student Netherlands means a lot to us because i twill be our first competition for the season 2019 and we want to make an impact and show that we are capable to participate to Formula Student competitions in France.
What are your main goals for this year?
For this year we have two main goals who are to participate to FSN with our two cars TASIA19 and ETASIA19 but also to have the first aerodynamic pack of the team. So if we can come to FSN with our two cars with their aerodynamic pack we will have complete our two main goals ! We aim to finish the endurance race with our two vehicles.
What made you think of/choose FSN?
FSN is a competition that brings together more and more great teams each year on an exceptional place. Moreover, this is the first European competition, which allows us to evaluate the potential of our cars quickly.
What makes you different than the other teams?
They are two things who make us different than other teams, the first one is to built two cars but the biggest one is to have each year a two new cars that we build by our own and when we are only 25 students of first year in engineer studies in the team.
What is your biggest achievement in Formula Student so far?
Actually our biggest achievement was last year when we finally made two cars in one year and having then two cars during the same competition.
Describe your car in three words.
In three words our car is quick, nervous and amazing !
