Introducing an additional newcomer to Formula Student Netherlands, Aristotle Racing Team, known as ART, are competing with their 7th car at TT Circuit this summer. Gkesios George, ART team leader has shared their goals for this season to officially introduce the team to the competition.

- Introduce your team briefly
We are Aristotle Racing Team(ART) from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki . Οur team has 28 active members and only one goal , to create the best FSAE car possible every year.
- Tell us about your team’s history with Formula Student.
Οur team was founded in 2006 and first competed in FSAE competition in 2007. Since then we have built 6 race cars and we have participated in 18 competitions. Every year we rank in the top 10 positions in at least one Formula Student competition .
- What does joining Formula Student Netherlands mean to you?
This year is the first time we participate in Formula Student Netherlands. We constantly try to get better and test our skills and a new competition is the best challenge for us.
- What are your main goals for this year?
This year we have two primary goals . The first is to test and improve our car in order to rank among the top teams in FSN and the second is to design the teams 7th race car.
- What made you think of/choose FSN?
FSN, as relatively new competition ,is an excellent opportunity for us to gain a new experience . We will compete in a new track , meet different teams and receive feedback from different judges. In the journey of constant improvement ,for us , FSN is the perfect next stop.
- What makes you different than the other teams?
Since the beginning ,ART operates ,as much as possible, like a professional team . We follow strict deadlines in order to achieve our goals .We also are deeply invested in the relationship between the teams’ members . We try to combine the dedication of a high end company with the strength of a family. This is what makes our team special.
- What is your biggest achievement in Formula Student so far?
Ουr biggest achievement so far is the 3rd overall position in FS ATA Italy in 2012 and our best ever position in the overall world ranking is the 35th.
